President Nicolas Maduro’s text reads, “What joy I feel to receive the love of the brave people of Guarenas and Guatire. We continue with this beautiful pilgrimage through our homeland, awakening consciences and building the future.”

In Caucagua, the population received Maduro with excitement and joy and reaffirmed their support for the Bolivarian leader in the presidential elections to be held on July 28.

“I tell the United States government, ‘If you want oil from Venezuela, you must pay it at the market price.’ The oil belongs to Venezuelans, not the gringos. Yankees, go home!” he said, warning that the Venezuelan far-right intends to carry out violent actions and claim fraud in the upcoming elections.

“Do you want violence? Do you want them to claim fraud and call to burn people alive?Do you want peace and tranquility in life?” Maduro asked the people, receiving strong support.

Later, the Venezuelan president met with the people of Guatire, where he urged them to prepare to defeat the far-right at the polls.

“Thank you, Guatire, for so much support and love for the homeland. You must continue to recover employment and output,” he said, highlighting that this territory has important companies dedicated to the production of pharmaceuticals, paper, footwear, and textiles.
