Venezuelan Workers Unites to Protagonize Peace March

Workers in Caracas, Táchira and other states of the country have joined the mobilization in support of President Nicolás Maduro.

The Venezuelan working class mobilized this Wednesday in a massive way in defense of peace, the homeland and the Bolivarian Revolution from the Libertador Avenue in Caracas (capital).

Representatives from various fields of labor attended the meeting, while some sectors of the right try to promote hatred and violence in Venezuelan society, following the presidential elections of 28 July.

With slogans of «the right will never again fill the streets of Venezuela with blood» and «We are a worthy, sovereign and peaceful people!» , the Venezuelans reaffirmed the value of the declaration of Latin America as a Zone of Peace, made in Havana, Cuba, at the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), an organization of which Venezuela is a member.

Workers from other states in Venezuela have also joined the mobilization in support of elected president Nicolás Maduro.
