“I am Nicolas Maduro, the people’s president. From Valera, I tell you that we are going to win the presidential elections. We are going to give a beating to the far-right fascists and racists,” he said before thousands of supporters gathered at a campaign event in the state of Trujillo.

“What we will decide on Sunday is no small thing. We will decide the future of Venezuela for the next 50 years,” he stressed, reminding that the U.S.-backed far-right seeks to privatize public services and sell the country’s main assets.

As part of the campaign closures, the Bolivarian leader also outlined some of the policies and government programs he wishes to implement for the 2025-2031 period.

In Trujillo, Maduro inaugurated projects such as the Jose Gregorio Hernandez Hospital, the Dialysis Unit in the Bocono municipality, 40 ambulances obtained through an agreement with China, and one hundred homes in the Cristobal Mendoza neighborhood.

“We have won all the battles against the violence from the far-right urban troublemakers. We put the guarimberos in their place. I have faith in you, comrades of Trujillo,” Maduro pointed out.

The Great Patriotic Pole’ candidate also warned that the far-right will try to manipulate information through international outlets and social media to justify the existence of an alleged electoral fraud.
