Venezuela To Decide Between War or Peace in the Presidential Elections: President Maduro

‘We won’t allow those who harmed Venezuela to come back’, the Bolivarian leader stressed.

On Thursday, President Nicolas Maduro held a campaign event in La Victoria, in the state of Aragua, where he warned that Venezuelans will decide between war and peace in the presidential elections.

“On July 28, we will choose between war or peace, violent protest or tranquility, national project or colony, democracy or fascism. Are you ready? I am ready, I have love for Venezuela, I have experience, I am not afraid of anything, not even the devil. God is with us, the people are with us,” he said.

Maduro assured that Venezuelans will not make just an electoral decision but a decision that will define “the country’s destiny over the next 50 years.” So he reiterated the invitation to vote for him in the presidential elections to be carried oyt on July 28, when the country will celebrate the Bolivarian revolution’s victory in peace and joy.”

“Our people is on the right path. They defend Venezuela and are heading towards a great victory of life an hope,” the Bolivarian leader told to the crowd gathered to support him in Aragua.

The text reads, “In the town of Francisco Linares Alcantara Aragua, we accompanied an extraordinary march in support of the homeland’s candidate Nicolas Maduro. We go with revolutionary mystique to continue building a prosperous, fair and supportive future. The future of Venezuela tells us belongs. On July 28th my spotted rooster wins!”

Referring to the Venezuelan far-right, the Bolivarian leader expressed his confidence that the people will not allow those who harmed the country to return to power.

“We fight for the right to peace and for the future for our boys and girls. Who harmed Venezuela? Who called for invasion and shortages? The oligarchy! And we will not let them come back!” he emphasized.

“I am sure that no one will hand over our homeland to foreigners or bring fascism to Venezuela,” Maduro said at his campaign event in La Victoria town.

The Venezuelan president also highlighted that there are still many things to be done to consolidate economic diversification and fully recover the rights to work, education, health, and housing.

On Wednesday, the Bolivarian leader said that on July 29 – one day after the elections – he will sign a decree to convene a great national dialogue to think about the future of Venezuela.
