During their meeting, the two diplomats analyzed the current situation in the Middle East and its regional and global implications.
“A long and very pleasant conversation with Sahar Ghanem, Ambassador of Yemen and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Netherlands. We reviewed the situation in the Middle East, expressing hopes for a prompt and lasting peace,” Constant said after the meeting in The Hague.
On numerous occasions, Venezuela has categorically condemned the bombings in Yemen carried out by the United States, the United Kingdom, and their allies.
The Bolivarian nation has described these bombings as violations of international law that only contribute to further destabilization in the region.
Venezuela has also insisted that peace and stability in the Middle East can only be achieved when Israel stops its genocidal actions in the Gaza Strip and complies with all United Nations resolutions for the establishment of a free and sovereign Palestinian state.
“The Bolivarian peace diplomacy defines that Venezuela’s relations with other countries must be based on mutual respect, cooperation, and strategic alliances in health, economy, agriculture, fishing, education, tourism, and sports,” Constant recalled.
