UN Panel of Electoral Experts Meets With Venezuelan Ministry of Defense
Padrino López assured that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) will guarantee peace and public order during the electoral festival.
The Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, held a meeting this Friday with a panel of electoral experts of the United Nations (UN), in view of the presidential elections of July 28.

Padrino López assured that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) will guarantee peace and public order during the electoral festival.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, along with other Venezuelan authorities such as the Strategic Operational Commander of FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez and the rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Aura Hernández.
The senior official considered that the arrival of the experts is “important and rewarding” for the execution of the elections and also “fundamental” for democracy.
“You know that here in Venezuela we open the doors for all international suppliers according to the CNE’s guidelines,” he said.
