The declaration reads:
Last week, a meeting was held with the officials of the social media platform Instagram, whose access we blocked due to the policies implemented within the framework of catalog crimes. In the meeting held; Our sensitivities regarding compliance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey were conveyed. We will meet with them again this afternoon. We hope that they will do what is necessary to meet our demands; We expect positive developments to occur.

He said, “We will meet them again this afternoon. We hope they will do what is necessary to satisfy our demands. We look forward to positive developments”

In this sense, local media said that the measure responds to Instagram excluding posts from Turkish users who expressed their condolences for the assassination of the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh.
