The Far-Right Plans To Silence President Maduro’s Electoral Victory: Rodriguez

From a Miami-based center, the extremist opposition will conduct an official broadcast shouting ‘fraud’, he warned.

On Monday, Jorge Rodriguez, the head of the Our Venezuela Campaign Command, reported that the far-right opposition plans to create an information blackout to silence President Nicolas Maduro’s victory in the July 28 elections.

International Media Outlets Must Respect the Venezuelan Elections: Rodriguez

U.S.-backed political groups seek to create a narrative through messages that allow them to define reality according to purposes different from the electoral goals, he warned.

“From a Miami-based center, they will conduct an official broadcast shouting ‘fraud.’ But Venezuelans know what the real surveys are,” Rodriguez said.

“They will not achieve their goals. President Maduro has traversed every inch of our Republic, mobilizing thousands of people,” he added.

“In Apure and Barinas, Maduro gathered over 500,000 citizens who demonstrated their love for the Republic’s peace,” Rodriguez stated, emphasizing that “the truth will explode in the face of the far-right.”

“In Trujillo and the entire Andean region, we will give a thrashing to the fascist far-right. With the devotion of Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez, the revolutionary forces will decide the future of Venezuela for the coming years,” he added.

Referring to the closing of the political campaign on Thursday, Rodriguez announced that the Grand Patriotic Pole will hold a massive rally in Caracas from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“We will gather millions of people who will spread across the 22 parishes of our historic Caracas. We will also have over 60,000 motorcyclists!” he said.
