President Daniel Ortega Declares Nicaraguan Youth as National Nicaraguan Heritage
Nicaragua’s President Daniel Ortega reported this Sunday that tomorrow, Monday, a presidential decree will be published in honor of the 55th anniversary of the death of Julio Buitrago, declaring the youth a National Heritage of the Central American country.

It was decided to make the resolution by the “The leading and decisive role played by the heroic Nicaraguan youth, through the ages, from the Indigenous resistance of Diriangén, Nicarao, Adiact, forging and traveling Inspiring paths, in courageous and decisive struggles of national liberation.”
In the statement released this Sunday, the words “Immense and Infinite” are recalled Nicaraguan poet Rubén Darío, “Father and Magical Master of the Nicaraguan Soul” who expressed “Youth, divine treasure”.
The declaration of National Heritage constitutes “a well-deserved recognition, in honor, glory and victories, to the Nicaraguan Youth of all times, whose Invicto spirit continues to create this Nicaragua of all, of security, tranquility, study, work, homeland, peace and future, which we all need and want.”

The Nicaraguan magazine “Cuaderno Sandinista” reports that in the capital Managua, revolutionary families with their shirts, scarves and red-and-white flags walked to celebrate and honor the heroes and martyrs of the country.
