Pollster Hinterlaces Reveals That 60% of Venezuelans Trust in the Election Results

According to the pollster Hinterlaces affirmed that 60% of the population has no doubts about the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

This study was conducted through a national sample of Venezuelan households, which took place from 31 July to 9 August, between 58% and 59% of the interviewees reiterated that the person who won the presidential elections was Nicolás Maduro Moros.

On the other hand, 60% trust the results issued by the CNE, while only 6% do not believe in the Electoral Power. Similarly, 4% prefer to wait for the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice, while another 26% wish to wait for the CNE to publish the minutes.

The company consulted on violent demonstrations, where at least 96% of those interviewed said they rejected this type of act, which generates destabilization in the national territory. In addition, seven out of 10 Venezuelans believe that those who promote violence should be prosecuted and punished.

79% of the people consulted do not agree that an international body or the Unitary Platform should be responsible for the election results. In this sense, 83% positively assess the Venezuelan electoral system.

Meanwhile, 57% of Venezuelans recognize that President Nicolás Maduro is the main promoter of Venezuela’s dialogue.
