Number of Palestinians Killed During Israeli Genocide in Gaza Rises to 39,965

After more than ten months of the Tel Aviv siege over occupied territory, vast swathes of Gaza remain in ruins amid a blockade of food, drinking water and medicines.

The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip, which began on 7 October, increased to 39,965, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

The number of injuries resulting from the constant attacks and bombings was 92,294. Civil Defence indicated that the majority of those arriving at hospitals are children and women.

According to the health authority, the occupation committed two massacres against families in the last 24 hours, which resulted in the death of 36 civilians and injuries to another 54.

The number of Palestinians killed is estimated to be much higher because thousands of bodies still remain under the rubble, while the Israeli occupation forces obstruct the movement of ambulances and Civil Defence teams.

On the other hand, during the attacks the Zionist occupation “has killed 2,100 Palestinian children under two years of age, which represents the bloodiest face of flagrant genocide in the Gaza Strip”, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights (Euro-Med) by a press release.

Meanwhile, he pointed out that Tel Aviv has killed nearly 17,000 children since the beginning of its offensive against the Palestinian population.

He also stressed that the toll of children killed by Israel in Gaza is “alarming and unprecedented” in modern war history.

Meanwhile, Gaza health authorities said on Tuesday that at least 115 newborns have died in Gaza. Among so many harrowing stories, it transpired hours ago that two twins died just hours after birth, whose father had gone to the registration office to collect their documents.

In June, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) described the Israeli conflict against Gaza as “a war on children”, denouncing that the area is already a “children’s cemetery”.
