Marches for the International Day in Support of Gaza and Prisoners

The total number of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupier’s detention centres exceeds 9,900.

Several protests and marches took place in various cities of the occupied West Bank as part of the National and International Day for Support of Gaza and the Prisoners.

The Palestinian flag and photographs of prisoners in the Tel Aviv detention centers were used during the vigils.

They also chanted slogans denouncing the crimes of occupation and its continued aggression against the Gaza Strip, as well as the rights of Palestinian prisoners.

Palestinian institutions defending prisoners and Palestinian national forces declared 3 August 2024 as a national and international day to support Gaza and the prisoners.

The total number of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupier’s detention centres exceeds 9,900.

Meanwhile, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip rose to 39,550. These include more than 16,300 children, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
