Latin American Leaders Extend Congratulations to Nicolás Maduro Following Electoral Triumph
The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, said he spoke with his Venezuelan counterpart to congratulate him on his electoral victory.
Presidents and leaders of Latin America sent this Monday messages of congratulations to the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who won the presidential elections this Sunday with 50.20 percent of the vote, according to an irreversible trend spread by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, indicated in his official account of the social network X that he spoke with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro to congratulate him on his electoral victory.
I have spoken with Brother Nicolás Maduro to convey warm congratulations on behalf of the Cuban Party, Government and people for the historic electoral victory achieved, after an impressive demonstration by the Venezuelan people.
«I reaffirmed Cuba’s solidarity,» the Cuban head of state pointed out, who accompanied his post with a photograph showing both rulers.

To convey warm congratulations on behalf of the Cuban Party, Government and people for the historic electoral victory achieved after an impressive demonstration by the Venezuelan people.
I reaffirmed Cuba’s solidarity.
The Nicaraguan government, for its part, disclosed a letter sent by President Daniel Ortega and his deputy, Rosario Murillo, to President Maduro in which they salute the «great victory that this heroic people gives to the eternal commander, on his birthday», in reference to the 70th anniversary of the birth of the Venezuelan commander Hugo Chávez.
