Israeli Forces Kill 13-Year-Old Palestinian Child in Occupied West Bank

Another Palestinian youth was seriously wounded in the neck by Israeli occupying forces during an incursion into the city of Tulkarem.

A 13-year-old Palestinian boy, identified as Ghassan Zahran, died as a result of injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli occupying forces in the village of Deir Abu Mash’al near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, as confirmed by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupying forces had ambushed a settler road adjacent to the village and fired live ammunition at a group of children, injuring Zahran in the abdomen.

The boy was taken to the Medical Complex in Ramallah, where doctors announced his martyrdom. The Ministry of Health also reported that a Palestinian youth was seriously wounded in the neck by Israeli occupying forces during a raid on the city of Tulkarem.

Israeli occupying forces raided four West Bank cities, including Areeha, Ramallah, Tulkarem and Salfit, in addition to the villages of Ya’bad, south-west of Jenin, Thanaba and Anabta, and the refugee camps of Nur Shams and Tal Sultan in Areeha.

Palestinian resistance faced Israeli incursions, and al-Quds Brigades – Brigade near Tulkarm, confirmed that their fighters faced the attacking forces from multiple directions.

With a large number of military vehicles and bulldozers, the occupying forces stormed the Nur Shams camp in a military operation that lasted more than six hours and caused significant damage to infrastructure, homes and vehicles.

Nine out of ten people have experienced at least one displacement in the neighbouring Gaza Strip since the Zionist escalation began, while most have had to move from one place to another on several occasions, according to the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (Unrwa).

Nine months of genocidal escalation have left nearly 38,300 Palestinians dead in the Gaza Strip and some 88,000 injured, according to the Gazan Ministry of Health.
