Further escalation between Israel & Hezbollah will only guarantee more suffering & devastation to communities in Lebanon & Israel.

While voices are heard predicting a wider war in the region, the United States and Israel are concerned about the weaponry of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement.

There is growing concern among Israeli and American officials that the weapons of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Lebanon (Hezbollah) can overcome Israel’s Iron Dome system. As preparations for a possible ground and air offensive against Lebanon are discussed, tension is mounting.

“We assess that at least some” Iron Dome batteries “will be overwhelmed,” a senior US administration official told CNN Thursday, on condition of anonymity.

The Resistance in Lebanon has a large number of missiles and drones, including precision-guided munitions. The Zionist group has shown its surprise at Hezbollah’s sophisticated attacks, especially after a video showing a drone damaging an Iron Dome battery went viral earlier this month.
