Florida Man Arrested for Making Threats Against President Joe Biden

According to the state’s Northern District Attorney’s Office, the arrestee is Jason Patrick Alday, 39, based in Quincy, far northeast of Florida

On Wednesday, a man was arrested in Florida, USA, for sending a series of threatening statements to President Joe Biden’s office and “several federal officials”.

According to the state’s Northern District Attorney’s Office, the arrestee is Jason Patrick Alday, 39, based in Quincy, far northeast of Florida, who was arrested and brought before a federal court in Tallahassee, the state’s capital.

The criminal complaint alleges that Alday “participated in sending threatening communications, threats against the president of the United States and threats against federal officials”.

The man was arrested by the US Marshals Service Task Force and the US Secret Service. and is awaiting trial.

The prosecution did not provide further details about the alleged threats and when they occurred. The case is being investigated by the United States Secret Service and by Deputy Federal Prosecutor Eric Welch
