Closure of Rafah Crossing Leaves 292 Palestinians Dead Since 7 May
More than 3,500 sick and injured people have been denied access to the border crossing since Israel took control.
At least 292 Palestinians were killed due to the closure by the Israeli army of the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, the Gazat government press office reported.

“The victims included injured people who needed to be treated in hospitals outside Gaza, but died while waiting for the opening of the Rafah crossing,” the portfolio said.
In that regard, he indicated that more than 3,500 sick and injured persons had been denied access to the border crossing since Israel took control.
It had been closed since 7 May and was the only exit from Gaza, and the humanitarian conditions in the Palestinian territory had worsened since that date.
Also, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported on Wednesday that this obstruction stranded more than 80 trucks with humanitarian aid, carrying food and medical supplies, ready to enter Gaza from Egypt.
Although the Zionist authorities are aware of these situations and know that their movements are the cause of this humanitarian situation, they do not stop their advance on civilian cities, not forgetting that they massacre dozens of Palestinians daily.
