Bolivia Sues U.S. For Interference in Internal Affairs
The Bolivian Foreign Ministry assured that his country promotes «a foreign policy based on the principles of equality, non-interference and respect for sovereignty».
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, convened on Monday the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States (U.S.), Debra Hevia, to call for actions by the staff of the US embassy, which are considered as an intrusion.

According to an entity statement, the purpose is “make known the concern and establish a claim on a series of pronouncements and actions that were carried out by the staff of the United States embassy, which are considered as an interference in internal affairs”.
He also assured that the Bolivian nation “promotes a foreign policy based on the principles of equality, non-interference and respect for sovereignty, within the framework of the norms of international law regulating diplomatic relations”.
In this sense, the Bolivian nation rejected any action that promotes interference.
Previously, Bolivian authorities warned about the search to repeat a coup.
