Afghanistan: The Taliban Regime Celebrates Its 3rd Anniversary in Power

It should be stressed that, since the Taliban took power in Kabul, it has not been recognized by the international community.

On Wednesday, the Taliban military regime celebrates its third anniversary in power of Afghanistan after its assumption of power in 2021, following the total withdrawal and international forces in the region.

In the morning, a military parade was held all over Kabul where the Taliban demonstrated their military power in the country and their sovereignty, in the parade, ironically thei uses American weapons stealed from the formers army repositories in the country.

It should be stressed that, since the Taliban took power in Kabul, it has not been recognized by the international community.

When the Islamic Mujahidin came to power, minority rights such as women and ethnic groups were not respected, and the presence of NGOs in the country was reduced to almost zero.

For his part, the former Afghan Prime Minister fled the country, handing over all power to the Taliban.

The regime has since its arrival been responsible for maintaining strict compliance with Sharia, the islamic law, reintroducing prohibitions such as music, dancing or access to university education for the female population.
